We hosted a participation site at the JCC for the simultaneous world-wide singing attempt of a national anthem (
HaTikvah). The local time was 2:50 CDST. Vicki videotaped the event, Erin shot still photographs, Rabbi Cukierkorn was the MC, Cantor Paul Silbersher lead the singing, Chase helped with the lyrics projection, Judge Robert and Mrs. Barbara Jones, Commissioners Marti Wilson (Indonesia) and Peter Smokorowski (Ukraine) served as official witnesses, and Deb gave the welcome. 73 people participated and sang enthusiastically. Israel was awarded the Guinness record!
