Our booth sold hummus, felafel, pickle on a stick and macaroons.

KosherFest at Ohev Shalom

We manned an information booth and distributed tourism and Aliyah materials at this wonderful event.

Northland Business Fair

Deb manned the Israel booth at Tuilleries Plaza, and the Tikvah dancers performed.

Memorial Day Observance at Liberty Memorial

Deb and Jeanne held the Israel flag at the Memorial Day ceremony, and Mel played taps.

Yom HaAtzmaut

Deb manned a booth at Yom HaAtzmaut with tourism and Aliyah materials.

Guinness world record for singing HaTikvah

We hosted a participation site at the JCC for the simultaneous world-wide singing attempt of a national anthem (HaTikvah). The local time was 2:50 CDST. Vicki videotaped the event, Erin shot still photographs, Rabbi Cukierkorn was the MC, Cantor Paul Silbersher lead the singing, Chase helped with the lyrics projection, Judge Robert and Mrs. Barbara Jones, Commissioners Marti Wilson (Indonesia) and Peter Smokorowski (Ukraine) served as official witnesses, and Deb gave the welcome. 73 people participated and sang enthusiastically. Israel was awarded the Guinness record!

Northland Ethnic Festival

We distributed tourism materials, sold Israeli flags and Dead Sea products at the Northland Festival at Park Hill High School.

Flower, Lawn & Garden Show

Deb participated as a greeter in native dress at the Flower, Lawn and Garden Show at Bartle Hall.

4-H International Night

Tikvah danced, and we sold ice cream sundaes and hummus (separately!), and roses from Israel.

2008 Diplomatic Ball

We attended the annual EEC Diplomatic Ball, which was hosted by Samoa, Hawaii and the American Indian commissions.

UMKC Global Village

We sold Mel's hummus and distributed some tourism materials at UMKC today.
