We sold hummus plates at the Jewish Arts Festival.

Ethnic Enrichment Festival - August 19-21, 2005

Another year without a booth, but Israel Spirit folks helped the festival by manning the admission gates. The Nigun band performed on the main stage. The photo includes Al (Finland), Marge (Morocco) and Deb (Israel). Mel and Jeanne were in the Parade of Flags.

Israeli Dance Workshop

Deb and Deb taught simple Israeli dances at the Jerusalem Conference in Sherwood, Arkansas.

Yom HaAtzmaut @ KI

Israel Spirit prepared felafel in the KI kitchen for the Yom HaAtzmaut celebration.

Diplomatic Ball

The Israel Commission received a Madeline Brock Outreach Award at the annual EEC Diplomatic Ball, hosted by the Pacific Rim commissions. Sam accepted the award for the committee.

4-H International Night

We sold hummus plates at the 4-H event held at the Ararat Shrine in KCMO.

Salaam Shalom Dinner

A number of us attended this interfaith dinner at Leawood Ironwoods Park.
